7N8D –Guwahati-Nameri- Tawang-Zemithang- Dirang- Guwahati

Day1: Ghy-Nameri (240kms/5hrs.)

On your arrival at Guwahati airport/ railway station, meet our representative who will assist you to your designated vehicle. You will be taken to Nameri (240km/5hr), check in at your hotel and stay overnight.

Day2: Nameri- Dirang (160kms/ 6hrs.)

Early morning starts for a Park tour in which one can watch birds, tigers and other wild animal busy in their daily pursuit. The National Park home for more than 300 species of birds, including rare and endanger “White Winged Wood Duck”. Post breakfast some adventurous activities like trekking and rafting can be done in Jia Bharali River. After activities head for lunch & if time permits one can start for Arunachal Pradesh “The Land of Rising Sun”. On arrival in Dirang, check-in at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day3: Dirang to Tawang (145kms/7hrs.)

Post breakfast prepare yourself for sightseeing in and around Dirang, which is a small hill station in west Kameng district. Visit Dirang Monastery (Kalachakra Gompa), the serenity of the place is sure to rejuvenate your senses. Move on to kiwi orchards, which is a noted attraction of this place. Witness 150 years old, beautifully build Dirang Dzong (fort). Later Drive to Tawang, through Sela- Pass which is the world second highest motor able road at an altitude of 13,700ft. Visit Jaswant Garh, memorial-cum-Mandir of a great Indian soldier. Also, admire the pristine beauty of Nuranang Fall (Bong Bong Fall). Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day4: Zemithang Sightseeing (200kms/10hrs.)

After breakfast, we will head towards a place called Zemithang. Zemithang is a beautiful hilly area situated around 100 kilometers away from Tawang. Zemithang is in the extreme end of Tawang district, in the border of China and Bhutan. As the road snakes uphill watch for ‘black-necked crane’ a rare verity of bird found in this region. There is a Buddha stupa also known as Gorchem Chorten, which is around 100 feet in height and the largest stupa in that area. After visiting, we will return to Tawang. While returning, we will halt at Tara Devi temple in LumLa. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day5: Bumla Pass & Madhuri Lake

Post breakfast, experience the behold fascinating view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake) against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Next we drive to Bumla pass which is in indo-china border, 37km away from Tawang. Also stop by beautiful Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, Naghula Lake. Overnight in Tawang.

Day6: Tawang- Bomdila (185kms/ 8hrs.)

While heading back down, we will proceed towards Bomdila which is at a distance of 185km and an altitude of 8000ft. Before submitting the night, we will give a visit to the spiritual Bomdila Monastery, Bomdila View Point from where one can enjoy the view of serene Bomdila. Later in the evening visit local market for shopping & dining. Overnight at Bomdila.

Day7: Bomdila to Tezpur, (150kms/5hrs.)

Early morning after breakfast start for Tezpur. Tezpur is a very old city of historic importance and mythological values. It is situated at the southern bank of the mighty river Brahmaputra. Local sightseeing of Tezpur includes the historically important places like The Agnigarh, the coal park, the Lord Shiva temples, and the beautiful Brahmaputra Ghats. Later after the small city tour head back to the hotel for the night.

Day8: Tezpur to Guwahati (210kms/4hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, head for Guwahati & at the end drop at Guwahati airport/ railway station for your return journey.
